MacGregor Boulevard Relocation

The relocation of N. MacGregor, from 2,785 feet east of the Cambridge Street intersection, to 720 feet west of it to free up about 10 acres of park land at the heart of TMC. We performed the design of a new 3-lane westbound concrete curb and gutter of N MacGregor roadway with a 14 foot median, and the re-construction of the existing 2-lane eastbound concrete curb and gutter S. MacGregor. We designed a fully actuated traffic signal, and the removal of an existing COH water well facility. An architecturally enhanced pedestrian and bike underpass, 30 feet by 130 feet was designed to connect the Herman Park to Brays Bayou trails.
