Scientech was the prime consultant for reconstruction of 13 streets, about 2 miles long, of a northwest neighborhood in two separate areas north and south of Hammerly Road and east of Bingle. This included preparation of 37 Plan and profile sheets, waterline, sanitary, and sidewalks. Comprehensive drainage analysis was performed for new storm system and in-line detention as to avoid any impacts to outfalls. TCP, SWPPP, tree protections, coordination of private utilities, City Parks Dept. as well as an elementary school, HCFCD, and some property owners were amongst some other tasks. The lowest successful bidder number of $8.9 million construction cost was within 2.47% of our estimate. Only a minimal written clarification addendum was issued with no design drawings, answering some contractor’s questions.  We received an excellent evaluation from City on our performance on this project with many praises for our on- time and quality work.
