Roadway/Bridge Replacement, City of Houston

Reconstruction of a major heavily traveled roadway project, 0.8 miles, from loop 610 to Sage due to replacement of a major old three span bridge over Buffalo Bayou as Prime Consultant.  Construction cost of $3.6 million.  City/TxDOT funded project.  Responsibilities included:  Schematic designs for added capacity, R.O.W. acquisitions, roadway design, traffic control to keep two lanes operational at all times which was accomplished by phasing of a major concrete bridge and their approaches in three (3) phases, storm sewer, waterline replacement, bikeway, traffic signal upgrades, traffic studies, SWPPP, Utility research/coordination, fiber optic lines were a major issue on this very old roadway, which acts as a major east-west artery
